Introducing Our 3 Year Old Preschool
Ages 2 1/2- 3 1/2
We at Loving Care feel it is necessary to provide three full years of preschool to our students. At this stage we are really encouraging students to become independent through skills such as:
1. Using words to express themselves
2. Taking Responsibility for their own actions
3. Cleaning up after themselves
4. Knowing their boundaries within the classroom
Along with independent skills we also focus on fine motor and early cognitive learning skills such as:
1. Using scissors on a daily basis
2. Pencil grasp skills
3. Tracing
4. 1 to 1 correspondence
5. Simple patterns
6. Recognizing letters and numbers
7. Begin to write their names
